CrowdStrike Falcon Cloud Security
CrowdStrike
Combined score
Security incident on record — July 2024 global sensor outage (not CSPM-specific)
▪ Editorial verdict
CrowdStrike Falcon Cloud Security extends the Falcon platform's threat intelligence advantage into cloud environments. The ExPRT.AI scoring applies adversary intelligence to cloud vulnerabilities, which means the prioritisation reflects actual attacker behaviour rather than theoretical CVSS scores. For existing Falcon customers, adding cloud security without a new agent is operationally compelling.
The honest limitation is that Falcon Cloud Security requires the Falcon sensor for full depth. Agentless coverage for cloud-native workloads is less comprehensive than Wiz or Orca. The value proposition is strongest inside the CrowdStrike ecosystem and weakens significantly outside it.
The verdict: CrowdStrike Falcon Cloud Security is right for existing Falcon EDR customers wanting to extend threat-intelligence-driven risk prioritisation into cloud workloads. Organisations without Falcon deployed should evaluate Wiz or Orca for better agentless coverage.
