For organisations already deploying Zscaler SSE or SASE, DLP is a natural extension of existing infrastructure that adds zero additional agents or appliances.

The limitation is scope. Zscaler DLP protects data in motion across the internet. Data at rest in on-premises storage, USB and print endpoint controls, and structured data matching for legacy databases are absent. Zscaler DLP is a cloud egress protection tool, not a comprehensive enterprise DLP replacement.
